Timer questions
How do I set a custom time?
Press Custom, enter hours, minutes and seconds, then press Set and Start. Custom timers can run up to 99 hours, 59 minutes and 59 seconds.
Will I hear an alarm when the timer ends?
Yes. When the countdown reaches zero the page plays two short beeps and shows "Time's up!", and the browser tab title changes too. Check that your device volume is on and the tab is not muted.
Does the timer keep running in a background tab?
The countdown is measured against the clock, not by counting ticks, so the remaining time stays correct when you switch tabs. Some browsers check background tabs less often, so the beep can arrive a little late; keep the tab visible when exact timing matters.
Can I pause the timer?
Yes. Press Pause to stop the countdown and Resume to continue from the same point. Reset returns the timer to the duration you set.
Is the timer saved if I reload the page?
No. The timer runs only in this page. Reloading or closing the tab clears it.
