Questions

FAQ

Why does "next Friday 5pm" change every week?
Because the resolver re-runs server-side on every revalidation (every 5 minutes by default). When Friday 5pm passes, "next Friday 5pm" naturally rolls forward to the following week. It's a live concept, not a fixed date.
Are these countdowns in my local time or some fixed zone?
Local. The target moment is computed in your browser's reported timezone, so "end of day" is your midnight, "weekend" is your Saturday, and "summer solstice" is whenever the solstice happens for your hemisphere's date. We never assume UTC unless the slug explicitly says so.
Why doesn't the seconds counter match my system clock perfectly?
It can drift by up to a second because we read your system clock once when the page loads and then increment locally. For sub-second precision use the Exact Time tool, which polls a high-resolution clock continuously.
Can I add a custom slug?
Not yet — the catalog is curated to keep the URL space high-quality and avoid spam. If there's a moment you'd like added (e.g. "end of fiscal Q2", "next Diwali"), the Days Until tool covers fixed dates today and the catalog can grow over time.
