EA Sports FC is the post-FIFA flagship of EA's football line, the publisher's largest annual revenue driver and one of the most-played sports games in the world. After the 2023 split with FIFA, EA continues the franchise with the same Frostbite engine, HyperMotion machine-learning animation, and the full club and national-team license set across the Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A, Ligue 1, MLS, the UEFA Champions League, and the Women's Champions League.
FC 27 is expected to lean further into HyperMotion V capture, refine Ultimate Team progression and microtransaction balance, and continue expanding the women's club football presence after the franchise's licensing push in FC 25 and FC 26.
EA Sports FC 27 launches September 25, 2026 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC (via EA app, Steam, and Epic), and Switch in a scaled-down legacy edition. Standard, Ultimate, and early-access editions are sold via the EA Store, with EA Play and PlayStation Plus members getting promotional access windows.
