King Srk 2026

What this countdown tracks

The clock above counts down to King, Shah Rukh Khan's Christmas Eve 2026 action vehicle co-directed by Sujoy Ghosh and Siddharth Anand, with Suhana Khan in a major supporting role.

About this film

King is Shah Rukh Khan's next theatrical event after Pathaan and Jawan reset his action-thriller career in 2023. Sujoy Ghosh (Kahaani) and Siddharth Anand (Pathaan, War) co-direct what has been described as a globe-trotting crime story, with SRK playing a powerful but morally compromised crime boss. His daughter Suhana Khan, after debuting in Netflix's The Archies, takes the on-screen apprentice role, marking her first major theatrical lead opposite her father.

The Christmas Eve release window positions King as Bollywood's headline holiday tentpole, going after the family-and-friends viewership that traditionally drives Indian box-office records. Yash Raj Films is reportedly handling distribution alongside Red Chillies Entertainment.

Cast and crew

• Directors: Sujoy Ghosh and Siddharth Anand
• Cast: Shah Rukh Khan, Suhana Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Deepika Padukone (cameo reported), Rani Mukerji
• Producers: Red Chillies Entertainment, Siddharth Anand Productions
• Music: Pritam (reported)

What to expect

Action set pieces are expected to anchor the film, in keeping with Anand's blockbuster style on War and Pathaan. Suhana Khan's casting alongside her father has been heavily marketed, with much of the early promotional campaign framed around the father-daughter dynamic. SRK is expected to handle stunt work himself in the tradition of the Pathaan-Jawan run.
