How accurate is the time shown?

The clocks read your device's local clock and apply IANA timezone offsets to compute each city's current time. Accuracy depends on your device clock, which most operating systems keep within a few seconds of real time via NTP. For millisecond-level reference against atomic clocks, use the Exact Time page, which measures your drift against NTP servers in the browser.

Does the world clock handle daylight saving time?

Yes. Each city is linked to its IANA timezone (for example, America/New_York or Europe/London), which carries the full history and rule set for daylight saving transitions. Clocks switch on the correct dates automatically, so the time you see always reflects the current local offset, whether standard or daylight.

Can I save the cities I add to my dashboard?

Yes. Your selection persists in your browser's local storage, so the same cities load on every visit from the same device and browser. The list does not sync across devices or browsers. To share a single city's clock with others, use the embeddable iframe widget on the Widgets page.
