London Fashion Week FW27 is the season London's fashion industry tries to consolidate the rebound trajectory that began under Laura Weir's BFC leadership in 2024. By February 2027 the BFC's revamped Fashion Awards (held November 2026), the expanded NEWGEN menswear stream, and the BFC Foundation's new Sustainability Lab are all operating at full capacity. FW27 is also the first London cycle where post-Brexit textile sourcing patterns have stabilised, with significantly more UK-based fabric mills returning to the schedule than at any time since 2020.
The BFC continues the BFC Show Space-plus-citywide-venues format. The week is short — five days against Paris's nine — which keeps the editorial hierarchy sharp. Co-ed and menswear shows are increasingly braided into the womenswear calendar rather than carved into a separate London Fashion Week Men's edition.
Burberry under Daniel Lee in his fourth year — at this point the brand's commercial trajectory is fully judgeable, and FW27 is the season retailers either green-light or pull back on Lee's direction. Other major beats: JW Anderson's personal label (rumoured 2026 launch) in its first or second London edition, Wales Bonner's continuing menswear-heavy runway, Simone Rocha, Erdem, Roksanda, Richard Quinn, and the 2026-27 NEWGEN cohort. The London Fashion Week Men's strand — folded into the unified calendar — features Martine Rose, Saul Nash, Chet Lo, and Stefan Cooke.
The BFC's londonfashionweek.co.uk publishes the daily schedule. Vogue Runway, Vogue Business, and Dazed cover the runway and editorial archives. Most BFC schedule houses livestream on YouTube and TikTok; by 2027 several are running first-party app-based behind-the-scenes feeds.
