Vision Quest Disney Plus 2026

What this countdown tracks

The clock above counts down to Vision Quest, Marvel Studios' WandaVision sequel series with Paul Bettany returning as the White Vision, premiering on Disney+ in late 2026.

About this season

Vision Quest is Marvel Studios' direct continuation of WandaVision (2021), following White Vision — the rebuilt synthezoid created by S.W.O.R.D. in WandaVision's finale — as he searches for his memories and identity. Terry Matalas (Star Trek: Picard season 3) showruns the eight-episode limited series, with Paul Bettany reprising the role and a stacked supporting cast in James D'Arcy (returning as Edwin Jarvis from the Avengers films and Agent Carter), Faran Tahir (returning as Raza from Iron Man), and Todd Stashwick (Star Trek: Picard).

The show was originally announced as White Vision before being rebranded Vision Quest at the same time as the Wanda follow-up Agatha All Along's release. Late 2026 is the working release window, building toward Avengers: Doomsday.

Cast and crew

  • Showrunner: Terry Matalas
  • Cast: Paul Bettany as White Vision, James D'Arcy as Edwin Jarvis, Faran Tahir as Raza, Todd Stashwick, Emily Hampshire (reported)
  • Studio: Marvel Studios
  • Platform: Disney+

What to expect

The show is framed as a meditative, journey-of-self storyline rather than the genre-pastiche of WandaVision. Matalas has indicated that the series will pull deeply on Vision-comic continuity, including Tom King's 2015 Vision miniseries — widely considered one of the greatest superhero comics ever written. Expect a reflective, philosophy-leaning tone with Marvel's typical action set pieces.

Past releases

  • WandaVision (2021): nine-episode Disney+ limited series, multiple Emmy wins.
  • Agatha All Along (2024): nine-episode WandaVision spin-off following Kathryn Hahn's Agatha.

How to watch

Vision Quest premieres in late 2026 on Disney+, with eight weekly episodes.
